I saw the movie today and absolutely loved it. I'm not a major comic book reader but I have seen all the Marvel movies and the character development and stories are a beauty to watch. Like many others have said, the Spider-Man was perfectly cast and written into this movie. I enjoy Toby's characterization of SM in the first 2 films he did. 3rd on sucked. Holland did a great job and I do look forward to his stand alone movie and the possibilities they can go forward with him.
I do have a question that someone might be able to answer. It was obvious from Capt America: Winter Soldier that Sharon Carter was Peggy Carter niece. How is this possible? Did Peggy Carter have more than one sibling? The one I'm familiar with was her brother from watching Agent Carter. But he died and that was the catalyst for her joining the SSR. How can Sharon be her niece and in her 30s if Peggy brother died in the 40s?

Is Zemo now a winter soldier?

Most fun I've had in a theatre in a long time.
Caught myself smiling quite a few times.
Clark Kent can't hold Steve Rogers' jock strap right now...sadly.

If the movie did anything to suggest Zemo is now a Winter Soldier, I completely missed it. I really doubt that's the case.
Also, someone asked earlier if Vision was trying to kill Falcon. On rewatch today, the answer is no. He was specifically going for the thruster to make him have to glide to the ground.

Vision totally could have caught Rhodey before he hit the ground. Remember how fast he was moving when he saved Scarlet Witch from the collapsing city at the end of AoU?
I'll chalk that up to them forgetting, possibly intentionally, how overpowered they've made Vision.

He specifically said he got distracted, because of his feelings for Wanda

Here's one beef I have upon my second watch:
Tony and Cap are discussing signing the accords. Cap is like, well maybe we can get it done of there are some safeguards. Tony is like Yeah sure no problem. Then Tony says something about Wanda being at the compound and Cap gets pissy and calls off the negotiation.
Why the hell does Cap blow up the deal because the witch is chilling at the crib?

Cap becomes angry because Tony said it was for "her" safety, which Cap views as bullshite. It is because Tony fears what she could do and keeps her prisoner in response.
That showed the flaw in Tony's plan.
Also, Spider-Man was fricking awesome.

Movie is incredible.
Someone said it and I have to re-ask..why is there a camera on that backroad right where Tony's parents are killed?

Pretty much this. Cap fought in WWII-when people where kept on site against their will at internment camps across the world.
From the FTA: "So you want to kill Nazis?"
"I don't want kill anyone, I just don't like bullies."
Also-not sure if posted-but Sharon Carter got a nice line that Peggy told her in the MCU, but was really the speech Steve gave Peter in the comic Civil War that had him switch sides.
To start-
quote:
I remember the first time I really understood what it was to be an American...What it was to be a patriot." "I was just a kid...A million years ago, it seems sometimes. Maybe twelve. I was reading Mark Twain. And he wrote something that struck me right down to my core...something so powerful, so true, that it changed my life. I memorized it so I could repeat it to myself, over and over across the years. He wrote --'In a republic, who is the country? Is it the government which is for the moment in the saddle? Why, the government is merely a temporary servant: it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. It's function is to obey orders, not originate them. Who, then is the country? Is it the newspaper? Is it the pulpit? Why, these are mere parts of the country, not the whole of it, they have not command, they have only their little share in the command. In a monarchy, the king and his family are the country: In a republic it is the common voice of the people each of you, for himself, by himself and on his own responsibility, must speak. It is a solemn and weighty responsibility, and not lightly to be flung aside at the bullying of pulpit, press, government, or the empty catchphrases of politicians. Each must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, and which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide it against your convictions is to be an unqualified and inexcusable traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let men label you as they may. If you alone of all the nation shall decide one way, and that way be the right way according to your convictions of the right, you have your duty by yourself and by your country. Hold up your head. You have nothing to be ashamed of'."

I don't think so, they probably just put him in the cell so they could justify the expense to the appropriations committee the next time a sequester comes up in congress

But Zemo escaped. So it's safe to assume he's gained some sort of powers.

Did he I remember Watson taunting him but don't remember an escape. I remember cap busting out the other avengers though

Zemo didn't escape or get powers.

I stand corrected. That's what it was.

Tony must have really had a bad taste for his father. Because when th winter soldier killed his parents, he didn't mention anything about his dad but "you killed my mother" quote.

Movie was great...and I'll go into detail at some point but before then I had a question that maybe someone can answer.
In the final scene where Zemo is showing IM, Cap and Bucky the video of the 1991 kill of Tony's parents, Tony looks at Steve and asks, "Did you know?" He hesitates than responds, "I didn't know it was him."
Tony freaks, obviously...because not only did he just witness Bucky straight up murder his parents (MARTHA!!!) but he now realizes Steve essentially knew his parents had been murdered.
So the question is...how/when did Steve find this out? This was 1991 so it was pre-thaw. Am I forgetting a scene somewhere in an alternate movie where Cap finds out that Tony's parents were murdered...maybe some briefing from SHIELD or something? That was the one this that didn;t resonate with me, so I'm assuming this was alluded to at some point and I've blanked.
Anyone know how Steve knew Tony's parents had been murdered...even of he didn't know it had been Bucky?

One of the few minor things I had a question about myself. But I assume Steve put 2 and 2 together from The Winter Soldier movie when The CPU Dr. Zoller showed a newspaper clipping of Howard Stark being assassinated.
Black Widow also gave Steve, Bucky's Hydra folder in order to help find him. So I assume it had a list of Bucky's kill list. But again, I think they should have made it a point for them to show the audience that Steve knew that bit of info.

I still want to know why that camera was there on a tree on a dirt road.
At the end of The Winter Soldier, when they are standing at Fury's grave, Black Widow hands Steve a folder on Bucky and tells him something like "you might not like what you find in there". I'm sure it was in there.
