Brendan Fraser To Play Villain in 'Batgirl'

I say this as “ the mummy” is absolutely on my Mount Rushmore of Rewatchable movies
There was a touching moment earlier this year where Fraser did a random Q and A on Instagram or something promoting his role in new Scorsese movie
A random chick didn’t really ask a question, but instead was complimenting Fraser and said the internet was rooting for him and it absolutely touched his heart. He got super choked up.

I just don't see Fraser as a comic movie villain, unless it's a comedic one with cheesy villains, like Kick arse or the horrible 90's Batman sequels. Throw in intersectional Batman and this movie officially has zero appeal.
But, that's become par for the course for DC/Warner.
