We have a TD poster that was detained in Customs and questioned after coming back from a bachelor trip to Mexico. He thought he may have been still tripping. His previous DC address was flagged as a residence the Boston Bomber was receiving mail at one time.

Just finished. A lot of things I didn't know happened by not living in area.

They'd get a medal i imagine and probably wouldn't have to spend near as much money on food and booze anymore.

What about the wife? Just kinda glanced over her and her possible involvement. Any updates on her?

Had to laugh at the Asian knowing his new cars gps number by heart
In all seriousness though what a beast to get out of there, he had to have been so scared. He’s essentially the reason they were caught so fast

Not sure if he’s really this way or the show portrayed him as such, but the fact that the bombers friend is still defensive of him is maddening.

I think he was describing the shock and betrayal he felt in the immediate aftermath. Here’s a quote from an OP-ED / Boston Globe he wrote a few years ago that explains how those immediate feelings were short-lived.
quote:
SOON WE KNEW THE FACTS of the despicable acts Jahar committed with his brother, Tamerlan. We witnessed the heartbreak and loss suffered by those they hurt and by the families of those they killed. Jahar left behind an ocean of pain that is still washing across my city, and my country, sowing hatred and division between people who hardly know each other's lived reality. Jahar wounded those he grew up with as well as millions who practice a religion he perverted with his crime. He made suspects of everyone who knew him. Jahar put our safety and freedom in direct peril.

How did that many shots get fired and no one get hit?

The FBI knew of these guys and chose to do nothing.
Loved how they had a picture of the older brother holding a weapon in front of a Jihadist flag and text messages with him using the word jihad multiple times.
FBI's conclusion? Not a threat

The gun fight with the brothers was wild, didn't realize the cop and the older one were like 6' apart just unloading on each other. wild times.
The Pulp Fiction comparison was solid.

Finally got around to watching this.
The Chinese guy was the biggest hero in this whole story. Huge nuts, and of course that motherfricker knew his GPS tracking number! Total stereotype, but it was awesome. He was even polite to the store clerk when asking for help! Totally fricking crazy.
My biggest question from the whole event though is how did they not check that boat in the first 15 minutes? Has there been an answer to this? I mean it was said to be a block or 2 from where he got out of the car. That is an all time colossal blunder from the cops. I think it was due in part to the total lack of organization. Not sure how the search was implemented, but it wreaked of incompetence. It kind of made me angry. The cops got extremely lucky.

Haven’t quite finished the last episode yet but did they say if the older brother was on drugs of any kind ? He was taking bullets in that footage and charging like a zombie
Also while the older brother was the one that probably needed to be taken alive at least his death was pretty gruesome and the younger has to live with running him over as he was fleeing like a bitch
