Blake Lively has accused her “It Ends With Us” director and co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment. In a bombshell filing, the actress alleges that Baldoni attempted to mount a smear campaign against her and claims his behavior caused her and her family “severe emotional distress” (per a legal complaint obtained by the New York Times). Bryan Freedman, a lawyer for Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer Studios, fired back at Lively’s complaint in a statement to Variety. He called the suit “shameful” and full of “categorically false accusations.”
According to the complaint lodged with the California Civil Rights department, a meeting was held during the production of “It Ends With Us” to address Lively’s claims and her demands for working on the film. Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, was reportedly in attendance at the meeting. Some of the demands addressed allegedly included “no more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”

i thought women wanted to be treated as equals?
i've had coworkers discuss their sexual conquests before and never filed a complaint over it.

Never saw the movie, but is that the guy in the skit that Reynolds did where he interviews him about being the love interest of his wife in the press junkit?

He asked his trainer how much Blake weighed because he had a bad back and wanted to protect it

Sexual Harassment
* no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,
* no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia,
* no more inquiries about Blake’s weight
* no further mention of Blake’s dead father.
Blake seems a little wound too tight, if she thinks she is being harassed sexually in these instances

She seems like an absolute nightmare to deal with. I believe she has a reputation for being extremely high maintenance, diva, complainer, etc.

Her lawyers uncovered emails/texts of a smear campaign against her from Baldoni.

So she wasn't bothered enough by the sexual harassments during shooting of the movie because she just wanted to get her movie done and get her payday.
Why didn't she speak up then or fire him? Or call the police? She didn't care enough then, like I said... It's her movie. She owns the rights. She did nothing.
Now after it's all done, she's bothered enough to file a lawsuit....
frick her. She just wants another payday. If she really cared, she would've fired him from the movie a long time ago.
But that dude sounds like a freaking idiot weirdo. Ryan should probably whoop his arse.

Movie had a weird vibe to it from the first I saw it, and shocker! It got super creepy IRL.

A guy does this in an office setting, he would be fired for sexual harassment in a heartbeat.

I wonder what the Buffy cast are thinking about this suit. They accused Joss Whedon of very similar things. Wonder what the statute of limitations are for such things.

So my wife is a fan of Colleen Hoover’s books(she apparently had a strong opinion about Lovely being too old to be cast.
When she noticed all the press stuff because she was really excited about the movie she thought the dude seemed creepy (extremely attractive, but creepy) and said that she noticed lively and him were never around one another.
When all the drama came up she asked me what was weird about some post by the dude and I read it and my immediate thought was “this dude paid a ton of people to say nice things about him and against her.” It was pretty obvious.
I don’t keep up with most Hollywood but I never heard about Lively being difficult to work with until this movie and I think it probably came from this dudes camp.
I’m super gay for knowing anything about this. Going to go stare at my wife’s boobs for a bit to get the straight back in me.

uh, I worked in HR
Mentioning someones dead father is not getting you fired at all, let alone for sexual harassment
Asking someone about their weight before you lift them as part of a task, is also not getting you fired. And certainly not for sexual harassment
Confessing that you beat a porn addiction and then getting fired for it, will cost that company a nice lil check. Just the same as if they had fired you for admitting to a previous addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc.
Talking about genitalia would likely land you in trouble. However, not enough specifics to say the comments were directed at Blake. You cant win because a co-worker was harassed
