She was starting to figure it out (skipping the rocks) and they alluded to it all being a simulation earlier when they talked about how the system worked. I guess in the end they figured it out when everything froze but that was only 1 instance of the 1000 simulations. It was a great episode

i get in the simulation they knew it was a simulation, but in the last scene in the bar, did they know they had done that? or did the app just pair them and they trust it?

Yeah, that part was like tinder. All they know is they are a 99.8% match. All the other stuff from the episode happened 1000 times in an instant

meh, that's ruins it for me. how would they know they liked each other unless they had been through the other terrible matches.

The simulations show that they are going to find a way to be together no matter what adversity they face. That's the point of the simulations.

I liked Callister, and enjoyed it even more on a rewatch. But it seemed a little too similar to White Christmas to me.

I could agree with that. Have watched the first three episodes so far, and that was my favorite one.

It's true, I could have seen two endings to that story, good outcomes for the protagonist or antagonists. I guess since this is a no spoilers thread, I wont go into any more detail.

I just finished S4. If I had to rank them it would be:

Hang the DJ
Callister
Metalhead
Crocodile
Black Museum
Arkangel

I don’t really see the comparison between WC & USS. In one case, the individuals involved are both trapped in a pretty terrible exist (physically violent for Jon Hamms character).

The ending in USS seemed like a soft jab at the internet/video game culture today.

White Christmas and Black Museum are more closely related.

I thought this was a good episode.

Not to mention, the landscape of Iceland was perfect for this episode

Absolutely LOVED this episode. My favorite by far. Just so dark and unsettling. Never seen them before, but I thought the lead actresses were outstanding.

Not Mat Damon but Jessie Plemons. He played Tod in Breaking Bad.

Only have watched the first two so far (trying to space them out as best as I can).

Wasn’t a huge fan of Arkangel, but still enjoyed it. But USS Callister was pretty great. Really cool idea and just a well-rounded, interesting episode. That was BM at just about its best IMO.

Is there a spoiler thread where we can discuss episodes?

I'm Skipping around. I watched hang the DJ and black museum last night. Both very good. I don't like gory stuff so had to turn away my eyes in a couple of the BM scenes... Glad it turned in a different direction after the doctors story. BM reminded me of true twilight zone ep..

I liked Hang the DJ. A hopeful episode and also made you think about the nature of timing of relationshipss
