If you’re going to say “best”, then I don’t think that’s a terrible pick.

I think 2012 or Twister(s) are more popular movies.

"The Impossible" is a good watch if you've never seen it. It was also a rough watch, especially if you have a young family like I did when I saw it. Follows a British family on vacation in Thailand during the tsunami. Very moving I thought.

Key Largo-Bogart and Edward G. Robinson dueling it out during a hurricane. May not be a disaster movie per se but the storm was key element of the plot. The flood scene in Oh Brother Where Art Thou was also great.
