Roman Roy is like an undrafted free agent rookie that’s burst into the scene as of late.

Cant think of a single reason why I would like his character at all. I mean props to Gleeson for bringing him to life but he is one of my least favorite characters of all time.
Should I feel bad that I have never been so happy to see someone suffer a horrifically painful death in front of his mother. Hell I only wish it was in super slow motion to stretch out the agony

i think that's what makes him a great character. Doesn't mean I like him. His death and Baelish's death were 2 of the most enjoyable of the series.

Probably because most of those were on HBO before most people here were born. 1st and 10 and Dream On were on back when I was in high school.

When I was in high school loved watching HBO, there was this teenager about 5'9", with a feminine voice, on HBO's Boxing after Dark. He was knocking grown arse men unconscious in under 10 minutes. Then would ramble on about throwing hydrogen bombs at his opponent, and how he is a destroyer of men that eats people's children....

Took his show to Pay per view, didn't end well. Went to jail for rape, bit someone's ear off in the ring, got addicted to drugs, and got a tattoo on his face. He is still good friends with the President, so he has that going for him. Now he was a character.

I just assumed the previous posters are all fairly young. Larry Sanders is probably right under Tony Soprano as far as iconic HBO characters.
