Yeah, I just love the Parks and never knew the full history.

My favorite episode was of the Japanese guy and his wife in Seattle and their day hikes to Mt. Rainier and then how they were interned in the camps during WWII and dreamed of their mountain.

Also like the story of the Everglades which you never think of as a National Park to actually visit.

Just interesting history.

And I just saw "Catfish" while looking up talhotblond...interesting "documentary."

Some might say it's fishy but it actually plays out pretty convincingly and it's poignant.

it was a documentary about a young man who felt out of place. he was told his entire life that his father was a heralded stunt-man. his stepfather put him down and challenged his manhood on the reg. his stepfather had some health problems and needed a shite-ton of money or the guy would never get to show his stepfather that he was a man. he, with the help of his friends, who all liked to party, overcame the odds and raised enough money to save his stepfather. after his stepfather recovered, the boy hit him and made him shite his pants. it was glorious. probably the second best movie ever made, behind highlander, of course.

seriously, it's probably King of Kong or Don't You Forget About Me

Beyond the Mat was an excellent documentary. It is sad to see wrestlers IRL.

Inside Job
Beyond the Mat
Jesus Camp

To the person who hasn't watched The Cove just because you can't differentiate eating dolphin vs cows or any other meats we eat, that's not entirely what this film is about.

It also highlights how many people in that culture have gotten sick and died from mercury poisoning because of the practices they use in mass production without any governing body overseeing it. It's worth a watch.
