I agree. Unfortunately, in this day and age, there's no chance in hell a song directed towards a woman saying "I'll make a man out of you" in reference to strength, ability, etc. ever wins out over Let it Go.

Pretty much makes the bracket invalid.

It's the best composition, the most unique and the most interesting.

Sure it isn't catchy, nor "good", but from a music standpoint it's legit.

Outside of that it's Bare Necessities and it isn't close, honestly.

It's sad that the "newish" songs are gonna advance just by recency bias.

I’ll make a man out of you is my favorite Disney song, but it’ll be out after round 1 when it gets slaughtered by let it go. I’ve got 2 kids under 5 and they still watch let it go on YouTube every day even though it’s been over 3 years. One day I’ll reveal to them that it’s a song about coming out of the closet and shatter their child hood.

That’s just off the top of my head, and those aren’t filler also rans. Those are all legitimate classic songs. And there are more from those same movies.

Personally, When You Wish Upon A Star is the original GOAT. But as far as the more complex musical numbers from modern films, I’d put A Whole New World and You’ll Be in My Heart at the top of the list.

Beauty and the Beast is a great one that feels both modern and epic classical and would feel that would be deserving as well.
