clearly he made some bonehead decisions but he was just a high school kid. And imagine the pressures of playing for Craig T Nelson.

No love for Burt in The Longest Yard, huh? He was a great tailback for FSU in his day. Bobby Bowden said he could have played pro if he hadn't busted his knee up.

No I'm a big Burt Reynolds fan but those guys in the 70's couldn't compete with a Darnell Jefferson or an Alvin Mack.
