So we're waiting on 270 to 275 more reviews.

I tried to prepare people yesterday and got blasted for it. It's not DC's fault. It's WB's fault for putting one of the biggest films for a potential franchise in the hands of a man whose best film is 300.

Seriously, Snyder is the next Michael bay.

I like mos, but yeah, it's a piece of shite 300 and watchmen, things looked promising for him.

Also I don't think the DC universe is too different and these characters have never interacted well IMO

Why it wasn't just limited to superman and batman is beyond me

I'm sick of superhero movies though

Have an upvote.

Who would be a good director to replace him?

The guy's not a director of anything of substance, never has been. His best movie is a remake, and it mostly succeeds due to James Gunn's script.

Someone who cares more about the characters than what looks "cool"

I don't know, but he's done great work with green screen but it's too much. I agree with wicked, he's also becoming obsessed with disaster porn

Superman: Edgar Wright

Batman: Well... Ben Affleck would be solid.

Not melting.

Still a lot of reviews to go, and I have to wonder if all the negative nancies just rushed to get theirs in first.

Regardless, I expect I will enjoy this, and that's all that matters to me

If you filter it by top critics (7) it's at 29%

I think if you like sci fi/fantasy/adventure

Matt reeves is an interesting choice. It's too bad he isn't directing a Star Wars movie, it's such a natural fit for him.

I want Matt reeves to start cranking out movies though. He needs work

Awesome. None of you have seen the movie and you're ready to fire Snyder off of the first hour of reviews.

Figured it would be around forty percent. It looks so cheesy. Big MoS fan too.

No, but we saw Man of Steel and I think the general consensus was that he needed to go then.

Every time I think about how terrible of a filmmaker Snyder is, I keep going back to the musical cues in Watchmen.

*Intro shows times changing*
Plays "Times They Are A Changing"

*Shows two riders approaching a tower"
Plays "All Along the Watchtower"

*Shows two people having sex after a discussion on the miracle of childbirth*
Plays "Hallelujah"

Seriously? That's year one, month one film school hacky bullshite.

Again, I have a lot of good things to say about him, particularly as it relates to elements of production design, but the guy is a green screen maniac, and MoS (which I personally enjoy) is pure disaster porn and there's no reason to think this will not be

I never planned on seeing it, but the awful (albeit early) reviews have me intrigued
