Akroyd is spot-on perfect as Joe Friday. Hanks does a fantastic job of playing off of Akroyd without stepping on his impression of Jack Webb.

I enjoyed it Even if my enjoyment was partly because it was the first time I became aware Hanks had the whole career as a comedic actor before his 90s run. Blew my young mind when I saw it
