Does anyone believe that Thor means that this next threat is bigger than Thanos and literally everything he’s ever fought? Sorry, I’m not buying the pitch.

LOL this is so stupid.

They killed a guy that could literally alter time and reality, and this new boss is more scary? STFU. They need to stop making these things.

So the guy who got the world's most successful HGH injection is supposed to save us from Doctor Doom? Got it.

Eh to be fair I remember people saying the same stuff when the Endgame plot leaked

you presume you know when his monologue in the trailer occurs in the movie. it could well be an instance where he and others go after Doom earlier in the movie (w/ C. Marvel, perhaps?) and they get decimated, with only him making it back.

that said, I am not sure how it is that God Loki (who basically became Kang in season 2 of the D+ series) couldn't just snuff Doom out.

If they're following the Secret Wars comics from a decade ago I have a feeling of how Doom gets so powerful

Thor was fearless in his first movie. Seemingly never knew fear. Outside of Thanos & Hela, what’s the level that Thor would be wetting his knickers over?

Seeing as the trailer shows Doom easily block Thor's Stormbreaker attack with 1 hand? Yea, I'm buying that.

Eh, somewhat. There were underlying issues that hampered it several ways: 1. The casting choice for Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot had the physical aspects down (gorgeous, amazonian in stature); however, her acting hit its limits and it became horribly clear she just wasn't a good actress. The more movies with her, the worse things would have gotten. 2. BvS went out of its way to make Superman kind of an a-hole. Any good will he had after Man of Steel is lost when he straight up abandons people right after an explosion. 3. "Martha" - enough said.

Somewhat? No Zack’s trilogy is excellent.

1) Gadot was perfect and absolutely nails her part in BvS, WW and ZSJL. You can literally only point to WW84, which wasn’t her fault, and you’ll try to play up one line from JL and claim she’s not a good actress.
2) nonsensical, doesn’t deserve a response
3) same thing as trying to make one line from Justice League to say the whole thing sucks. And you’re retarded if you can’t understand that scene

People were doing exactly what you are doing before BvS even released with the sad Affleck meme to make it not cool to see it. It was at the height of the fervor over Disney Kids Universe so people went out of their way to hate on what Zack did, plus they associate him as right wing so that was another factor in the attacks

Somebody didn't read comic books as a kid. There's always the next villain to fight. That guy builds to the next guy.

As long as the content is high quality, I could watch this stuff forever. There are decades worth of great stories to tell on screen. Hopefully, Disney learned we want quality over quantity. I am stoked we finally have the X-Men in the hands of people that can adapt their stories without random characters thrown together or who think the Phoenix is the only story out there.

If Doomsday and Secret Wars are the vehicles that give me awesome X-Men and F4 movies, I'm 100% down for the ride.

The REAL problem is that Doom is basically going to come out of nowhere.

They're going to re-release Endgame w/ 7 added minutes that are supposed to bring him into the Infinity narrative to a degree, but otherwise, aside from a post-credit scene in Fantastic Four (and I am presuming something in Brand New Day), that will be it. Thanos was known and lurking from early on.

There's a good theory going around that Spidey will have the black suit for Secret Wars

I agree with that. We had years of emotional buildup to IW and Endgame. We were getting that with Kang before all the Jonathon Majors stuff. I'm curious to see how they make the pivot from Kang to Doom. Maybe they just rip the bandaid off and get straight to the action, but I have a feeling they'll at least talk about some variant of Kang.

This has been one of my main problems coupled with the amount of shows that Disney shoved through and the lack of any real connection between each movie there didn't really to seem to be that much of a direction

Everything was just kind of happening and for the most part the stories seemed self contained minus an after credit scene or a cameo.

I'm still excited for the movie but the multiverse saga was certainly mishandled

There's an AI video of Doom walking into the council of Kangs and just completely massacring all of them I think something like that would be cool to put in to get rid of Kang while also having the audience understand how powerful Doom is

The Marvel movies and shows have been more "miss" than "hit" since Endgame

On top of that, they haven't gone back to some of the good ones. I really enjoyed Hawkeye(2021) and Moon Knight(2022). Instead of Hawkeye S2, we got a spinoff nobody asked for or cared about.

I'm not even sure why it takes two years between X-Men '97 seasons. It's an animated show, not Game of Thrones. Come on, Disney...

It'd be funny if that was a leak to gauge fan reaction

We've had two seasons of Loki deep diving into multiple timelines and discovering the TVA and He Who Remains attempting to control/contain them.

We've had Dr Strange and Wanda jumping across multiverses and discovering the Illuminati attempting to control/contain them.

We've had three separate Spidermen in the same timeline with a massive incursion above NYC and Dr Strange fixed it with a spell.

All great stories on their own, but how they all seemingly happened in a vacuum in this supposedly shared universe is poor planning.
