Hopefully it's better and shorter than the 2022 disaster as well.

My favorite part of that movie, was my 9 year old looking at me and asking "why is this movie still going on?"

Is OML coming out of retirement for this?

This is my only concern everything else I’ve seen about this makes it look great.

Looks like they're sticking to the story beats, graphics are a little eh, as is some of the line delivery.

It definitely looks leagues better than the movie, but I can't bring myself to get excited about it. Burned too many times. I'll watch and hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Considering that the 2010 film is one of the worst movies ever made, I don't think that's too difficult.

I didn’t see any obvious trannies so it’s already ahead of most disasters put out today

According to the ones behind the adaption the show will start out different I assume it’s starting off with the genocide

I think they will show Aang fleeing the air temple, the monks fighting the firebenders, then maybe cut to Zuko's agni-kai vs his father, then his banishment being you must find the avatar or never return. Cut to Zuko on the boat in the south pole dropping some exposition about them hunting down the water benders then cut to Katara water bending and then we start episode 1.
