I just started this last night and it seems really interesting? And scary at the same time.

I really enjoyed the first few seasons but the last season is GoT season 8 level writing.

I don't want to give too much away and to scare you off, as its an awesome concept and at least 2-3 characters are good, one being awesome.

But in my opinion its a very uneven show that really really botches the premise, with the last season being a total and utter abortion.

You should still watch it though.

I really enjoyed it. The first two seasons make wonder how easily everyone just accepted the Nazis.

2020 does not give any reason to doubt what the show was saying about it.

Weird that it ended prior to 2020.

I know I caught that. Seems there are parallels to draw.

Solid production, solid cast, solid idea...absolutely terrible execution. The writers should be ashamed.

I loved it right up until the last season. It was like the writers suddenly realized that they didn't have any black characters, so a quarter of every episode was dedicated to following around a bunch of fanatical black communists who end up defeating the Japanese and taking over the western US. Something that white people apparently couldn't do, even though their tactics mirrored what the previous resistance had done. Oh, and they weren't liberating anything so the West could go back to pre-war America. They were establishing a black controlled, communist run nation, where whites would specifically be second class citizens. This might have been interesting, except this goal is presented as noble, not the lateral (or worse) move from Japanese occupation it would be in reality. So I just fast forwarded through those sections of each episode.

Yeah, the last season REALLY pissed me off.

Leave it to Hollywood for the ultimate heroes out of nowhere to be black communists. It was absolutely ridiculous and offensive.

Loved everything about this series except the final episode.

Overall I thought it was still very well done.

The flashback scenes in the last season were cool. Right when the US lost.

SON OF A frickING BITCH!!!!!!!

My wife got my into watching this show again a week or so ago. We had watched the first 2 1/2 half season or so I think a couple of years ago, and liked parts of it (Trade Minister, John Smith, multi-verse hints, etc) but mostly it was kind of boring and badly acted so we got tired of it and stopped.

We're now about to start Season 3 tonight, and you're telling me that it essentially NEVER pays off and falls about like GoT at the end?!?!

FUUUUUUUUUUCK!

But seriously...

The ending is significantly worse than GOTs.

It is liberal wetdream political nonsense that is bordering on offensive.
