I watched a replay last night. It was interesting for a while, but by the time it ended, it became really intriguing. I'll definitely watch future episodes.

And yes, every actor from GoT is in it, apparently.

Just watched it. Thought it was pretty damn good. I didn't find it that slow either, something that other posters have said

I watched it online via fx.com and there were no commercials

Did you have any issues? My laptop sounded like a jet engine. Never have any issue with shows on Netflix, HBO, History, or NBC. I am the opposite of computer savvy, so that doesn't help.

Anyway, I definitely enjoyed the episode. Tom Hardy is obviously perfect for the role, and I enjoyed the sinister overly wealthy British group led by the High Sparrow. Can't wait for these nerds (especially the brother in law) to try Tom and find that the rumors are true

FYI I forgot to watch but it's on demand with DIRECTV

Just go to menu and search for taboo. It's available for instant play.

Tom Hardy plays crazy really well. But the amount of commercials was extraordinarily excessive.

yes and yes.

you really have to focus on this show there is a lot to digest with the back story...one of those watch twice and catch hidden gems the second time for sure!

I am excited to see where this crazy train goes!

My wife is the biggest Hardy fan in the world and she turned it off about a third of the way through. It couldn't hold our attention.

was also surprised at the language they got away with but it wasn't excessive.

It's my understanding, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but only broadcast channels have to adhere to FCC language restrictions...ie, free channels. ALL cable or pay channels can do whatever they want with only considerations for what their advertisers will be ok with.

So basically, if your advertisers are alright with advertising on a show that uses adult language or has nudity, then you're good to go so long as people have to pay to see it in one way or another. If it's free over the air, it's FCC rules whether your advertiser would be ok wit it or not.

That being said, networks like FX, AMC, etc have obviously begun going that route more aggressively. Justified and Sons of Anarchy never dropped "frick" on their show, not did Mad Men or Breaking Bad as far as I know, and all of those could legitimately have used more adult language form time to time.

It was kind of boring, and I Love Hardy, but Im kind of over his same brooding angry attitude in every single movie he makes. He used to have range, now he is just doing the same thing over and over, and its dumb.
