Same. Great listening while doing odd yardwork or whatever.
Never saw 1 second of Rise of Skywalker, but when Mauler's vid came out, it was must watch/listen. He does a meticulous, surgical job breaking down the exact failures of a show/movie.
Reminds me of sortie debriefs back in the day, especially at Weapons School. 45-minute sortie, 8 hour debrief replaying hud tapes, radar tapes and comm from every participant, breaking down our main focus points and finding root causes to mission deviations/failures.
It's how we learn. Unfortunately, most want the one-sentence/one-Tweet snark and move on.

well said.
back years ago, i was desperately trying to hang onto the "Revenge of the Sith was actually pretty decent" claim and my buddy sent me a link to the Plinkett review and just said "i apologize in advance".

This movie really is terrible and I don't need a 6 hour video.
When the girl was so high and mighty about getting arrested trying to stop them clearing out a homeless encampment, and they portrayed that as a good thing and not that she is a fricking idiot and the homeless encampment is a menace, I checked out.

About Cassie shrinking the cop car…
Hank would rather die than allow his particle tech to get out & be haplessly used in this or any manner.
Here? He shrugs. Scott is more upset than anyone else. Totally out of character for all involved.
Oh, and helping the homeless? Hope is literally in charge of a global corporation that is working on this very issue. There’s no need for Cassie to act all Antifa like and effectively destroy public, police property.
MauLer’s vid & breakdown is 2x as long as the actual movie.
(But i didn’t pay for a movie ticket, so i don’t know what I’m talking about. )

They obviously wrote the move during BLM and thought in their hollywood hive minds that it would play well, and would be similar to Scott's "activism", but it just looked like shite and was irksome.
The whole movie is a total mess.

Hope no one is shocked, but Antman 3 lost even MORE money!
That nonsensical pile of CGI garbage cost over 300 MILLION dollars to make.

You know you can just embed Youtube videos now, right?

Scott doesn't know this stuff. He's used it, but has no clue how it really works.
I disagree. He is a high level engineer. in Ant-man 1 he was shown tweaking the devices. The real issue is that he was made a clown. Just like most of the MCU movies in the last few years, the male lead had to be made a clown so the female lead can be shown as a serious leader.

*The 'you didn't even see it' claim is utter nonsense considering there's been 5 movies I saw where Antman was in part or full on the star.
You're such a fricking weirdo. You could have just watched the movie, come up w/your own opinions, and saved 4 hours of your life by not watching yet another YouTuber tell you why you should hate something.

The Long Man is one of the best. Don’t always agree with him but the EFAP crew is pretty hilarious. The little German guy makes me laugh.
