Currently watching Baki Hanma season 2. It's much better than season 1. I'm enjoying it.

I'm bumping this because of the other thread and because of new animes currently airing;

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
(The long-lived elf mage of a hero's party realizes how short human's lives are after the hero dies of old age and sets out on a new journey. It's fantasy without iseka.)

Zom 100: Bucket list of the Dead
(Overworked office jockey finds a new lease on life when the zombie apocalypse hits. Cool visuals, fun story, and likeable protagonist)

The One Hundred Girlfriends Who REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY Likes Me
(Shameless harem anime because we all secretly enjoy harem animes.)

I don’t keep up with this thread much anymore but a couple I haven’t seen mentioned on the last couple pages is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Vinland Saga.

Both on Netflix. I’m caught up on Jojo and it has to be one of the all time greats. Characters are all good and memorable. It’s bonkers but so good. I really hope they continue on past the most recent season.

Started Vinland Saga not long ago and the first season was really good. 2nd season so far through 3 episodes has been a bit of a change, but that’s not a lot to make an opinion on yet.

Both shows definitely worth checking out

Slime season 3 is out! This is the one I have been most pumped for. First episode was a banger jumping right into the political games.

For fans of Rumiko Takahashi's work:

The Inuyasha sequel series finished after two seasons. The Urusei Yatsura remake finished after two seasons. Maison Ikkoku is getting no love, but the original anime had an actual ending.

Now, Ranma is getting a remake.

It's unclear if it will just be a shorter Best Of (like Urusei Yatsura was) or a full series. The original anime never reached a conclusion, and even with all of the OVAs there were several stories from the manga that were never animated. The same animation studio that did Attack on Titan is doing this, so they've done long form work before.

Many of the original voice actors are returning. Both boy and girl Ranma, the three Tendo sisters, Shampoo, and Ryoga are all reprising their roles. Genma, Soun, Happosai, and the grandmother will have new voice actors. It's not clear about some of the other ancillary characters.

Man I love Ranma, so I will certainly be checking this out.

Also, I just started watching today but man No Longer Allowed in Another World is crazy fun thus far. I really like the subversive of the isekai trope.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian has been a really funny rom com thus far.

I already dropped The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human. I just didn't vibe with it and I kind of am disappointed, I felt like it would have been more of my style.

Oh and Slime has been absolute fire this season. I finished the 13th light novels last week so I am pumped for the stuff to come. Shits going to be crazy.

Late for this season, but just started watching Dandadan. The premise is fun and the animation trippy. The character chemistry is probably the best part though. Highly recommend.

Just finished Dandadan and I have no idea what the hell I just watched.

Who is this even made for? IYKYK. Goes from goofy, creepy, silly, dark, silly, way dark...

Got to the final ep without even knowing and got hit with a heck of a cliff hanger.

It's definitely a rollercoaster. And the end credits oddly tell a cool story if you pay attention.

DBZ Abridged on YouTube is hilarious and stays very true to the story.

I wanted to watch S2 at the theater but didn't get a chance to. Started in on episode 1 but got sidetracked. Need to get back to that weird arse show.
