You know what happened 15 years ago? Order 66.

Does that 15 years account for the year skips between episodes this season? I mean it makes sense but i hope they arent going like the video game where Cere Junda severed herself from the force (also after order 66)

it was from his speech which was in last season, and yes Order 66 was 15 years from that speech.

They use 1/4 inch TRS stereo jacks!

I just imagined Kleya scrambling to place an Amazon order because her 15th 1/4-1/8” stereo adapter failed and she can no longer plug her headphones in to listen to the bugs/comms.

HIs speech sounds like what a grey jedi would say.

Wasn’t there also a space battle scene from S1 where he had uncanny piloting skills? I’ve been wondering whether this was something they’ll resolve or leave it to interpretation.

Order 66 was 19 years BBY. I don't remember how many years exist between S1 when that speech was made and S2, but you can do the math since we know exactly what years BBY S2 arcs are taking place.

He's got a jedi and sith holocron in the back room in his shop

This is a really good point. Publicly displaying those along with that jedi security mask would have brought an incredibly amount of scrutiny on him and his shop. This was the time frame that the inquisitors were hunting down jedi. They would have been all over that shite like white on rice.

Theres no logical, canonical way that he could have been displaying a sith holocron publicly and Palpatine not been all over it.

Yea. He took out that ship that had him in a tractor beam, blasted one tie with his auto turret, and got the last two with his "shipsabers".

Not gonna lie, that triggered me a little bit. Doesn't make a lot of sense for that advanced tech to exist in a one-off ship at that point in the timeline.

ETA: that was an amazing scene, arguably the best small scale space battle scene in all of Star Wars. Don't want to take away from that.

"It's bad luck Gorman." Nothing like a shrug about an upcoming genocide.

Luthen has what is essentially a James Bond car. Full of surprises. Even the Imperial officers on the other ship were stunned. "What? On a haulcraft?" Cassian was taken aback when it made the jump to light speed. “What’s powering this? … I’ve been in a Fondor Haulcraft. I’ve flown them. I’ve never seen one do that.”

This may be old news, but did everyone catch that a haulcraft was on the list of stolen items Dedra had in season 1?

ETA Just listened to it, they mention Fondor, which is a planet. I guess an assumption could be made that Luthen stole the haulcraft from there but maybe not.

He's so careful and meticulous with every move. I doubt he'd risk boosting a ship. He doesn't seem like he's lacking funds with his high class antique shop catering to the wealthy.

With that said, anyone else tired of Cassein always being a whiny bitch? He’s such a Debbie downer and pissed at the world.

I mean, he's constantly losing the people he cares about around him and it's not unreasonable that it would be fricking exhausting to do what he's done to this point.

I actually appreciate that about the show. It shows the mental toll that creating the Rebellion took on the cogs in the wheel. The sacrifice.

I’ll say it again and again - Andor is completely compelling because of the way the writers humanize alien farts and black hole star work and the honestly, the future.

So... We're about 30 hours from the finale being released. Any predictions on what we expect to see, or just what we want to see?

1.) I would like to see a Dedra and Luthen confrontation to kind of follow up on Syril/Cassian.

2.) I'd like to see quite a bit of length between the episodes with Krennic and the Death Star. Some good scenes of its construction, maybe at least one scene with Galen Urso either talking to someone about it or showing his quandary with what they were doing.

3.) I'd like see at least a scene or two really establishing the relationship between Cassian and K2.

4.) I'd like a scene of Emperor Palpatine actually doing something as the leader of the Galactic Emperor. Maybe making a speech to the senate, an address that is broadcast galaxy wide, even just him showing up at the ISB Supervisor council meeting or something

I saw a funny theory on Reddit that Eedy is going to be the one that takes out Dedra.

Doubt it, but so want it

I’m most interested to see how Lonni’s story ends. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

Right before the events of Rogue One there's an insurgency on Jedha where the Empire is mining kyber crystals for the Death Star. Maybe that insurgency will be the focus of the final arc.
