I learned something weird about Harry Dean Stanton this week. He was dating Rebecca DeMornay when she did her breakout role in Risky Business. He was 57 and she was 23.

He got word that she and Tom Cruise were taking the amorous acting a little too seriously so he started hanging around the set like a jealous stalker until it became a problem. Of course she dumped him for Cruise.

As far as the topic goes, I will submit this dude and his 100 minor credits:

Tommy Flanagan is a good one I think. Most folks know his face by his distinctive scars and he's been in some BIG stuff but isn't a household name at this point.

Side note: He's going to be in the upcoming House of Dragon season too.

Strange choice. I looked through the whole list. I have never seen one single thing on it. I don’t recognize him.

I guess if you’re not an entourage fan Jeremy Piven would qualify for this.

It’s a shame because he was a damn good actor too. He nailed the role of Mike Durant in Black Hawk Down.

I think the reason why he never made Hollywood status is because he was a playhouse/theater actor from NYC who was very selective with the roles he was offered.
