The book "White Fragility" has become a cornerstone in the politics of intersectionality and is helping to drive policy and culture. It is no longer an extreme but a norm in HR departments and college campuses across the country.
It's the focus of the movie and centers around it's most prominent practitioners including the author so I'm not sure what you are referring to?

I'm amazed this thread was allowed to stay on the board. Mine was removed from this board when the film was announced and put on the OT for no reason whatsoever. Here it is. I asked multiple times what was wrong with it but no one was ever able to provide an answer.
This movie is going to be fantastic, and is going to expose quite a few leftists. Just like "What is a Woman?" did.

I actually heard Matt Walsh interviewed on the socialist progressive Jimmy Dore show yesterday and he said racism is hating another race or viewing them as less than and he thinks that’s evil and wrong… so I’m tempted to think that your interpretation may be kinda like the people in this movie.
If you call out real racism when it exists and don’t make up bullshite maybe people will condemn it more when it actually exists.

Went to Perkins Rowe tonight to watch. About :25 in the entire theatre shut down "please leave through emergency exits due to a reported emergency" something or another. Some people were getting it down that exit hall.
Was looking forward to the entire movie. Will have to catch later.

I like Dore. Don’t agree with everything but he’s pro-Medicare for all, union, UBI, etc. he’s both of those by his own words.
Hell, he abandoned Bernie when he turned around and endorsed Clinton and Biden. You may not like that he turned on Democrats, but he’s both of those things by his own admission.

It affects far more people than you think. Especially in universities and corporate America.
My wife who is a liberal leaning minority has been passed over for even interviews because of required diversity statements (for example). Which is beyond outrageous given DEI is supposedly about inclusion, opportunities for women and minorities, and diversity. But functions only to completely destroy intellectual diversity and select only people who are radicalized or willing lie about being radical ideologues.

I mean… the reason they’re embracing it as a risk management tool is because it poses a legitimate risk. The fact that they aren’t true believers in no way, shape or form undermines the assertion that the ideology has run off the rails and that it represents a legitimate threat to the collective well being of the nation. So I hope that’s not the takeaway you pulled from my post

In a lot of ways, I think the movie PCU was ahead of its time with the message “we’re not gonna protest”. If you recall that film, the “crazies” were all to the left and the conservatives were just dicks.
Well, what’s happened is while the leftist have remained radical and moved further left, the new “right” is the populist outrage-based Limbaugh cum MAGA movement which is composed of those who are equally as shallow/ignorant and swayed to radicalism as the left has historically been. The are “conservative” and Republican in name only. The reality is first Rush came along and told them how pissed off they should be, and then The Donald followed up on it.
It’s absolutely no different that what this documentary is complaining about calling America racist to its bones…it’s just drinking a different flavor of Kool Aid.
Frankly, I miss “we’re not gonna protest”.
