If you really want a modern sci-fi epic both that and Valerian are good.

I liked Valerian a lot. It was close enough to Fifth Element to be worth a watch.

It’s not the worst movie I’ve paid to seeing in theaters but it’s not really far. But it’s better than I thought it would be.

Didn’t like the cliffhanger ending, think they got greedy with the build up for a sequel.

They stuck too close to the manga.

The movie ends the exact same way as the first arc ends.

Valerian would have been better without Dane DeHaan. Dude looks like a coked out 10th grader and is more stiff than Hayden in Attack of the Clones.

Hard for me to turn down anything with Christoph Waltz. Plus, I am a sucker for a decent sci-fi film or show.
