Just watched last night's show, agree getting better.

Only thing I wish is that they would not do the formula of "a problem at beginning of show, problem solved by the end of show".

"Revolution" did this formula and it didn't work (IMO). There is a grander story (like Revolution), but solving mini stories each episode just makes it seem like a cheaply written show.

I wish they would take a story line like "LOST". At least this show ended with a teaser, but I want more story carry over.

It gets better. I'm actually happy it started crappy as it lowered my expectation and now it's gradually grown on me since it's gotten better. I prefer it this way than starting off with a bang and just slowly fading and fading.

It's the old model of building an audience, I think. Progress the big arcs very slowly at the beginning while building the characters episodicly so that you can easily catch people up that may have missed the first couple episodes but heard that the show was good.

I think it's an outmoded model, because it's so easy to just go back and watch the shows to catch yourself up now. But we all know that networks are very slow to change.

It sometimes happens on cable too. Justified was very episodic/villain of the week for the first part of season 1.

At least it's not completely procedural like CBS's shows. There is a continuation in the series. Same thing with Sleepy Hollow, but that's another thread.

Perhaps the most corny show I've ever watched. And the agent guy's, Ward?, defining moment story, was LOL worthy. "My brother beat the crap out of me, just for eating his birthday cake!" hahahahahahahahaha

Ya, that was bad. What kind of fatass beats up their brother over a piece of cake? Would have made sense if he said drunk dad instead of brother.

They could have went really dark and made it a pervy neighbor, but the show airs at 7pm central, they have to be a little more tame.

Though the slow motion, wet-dress running scene was x-rated in my head.

Whoever said something about LMD is looking to be right. They kept bringing up muscle memory and Colston's (sp?) lack of it.

From what I've gathered from here. It is pretty much a robot/android/cyborg with the mind/memories of Colston.

May be way off.
