It is nice to see all the kum ba yah connectedness to greater or lesser extents in all/most Marvel products on TV and in movies.

That being said - I liked last night's episode for the sake of the episode, not for the sake of how "connected" it was or wasn't to the larger MCUCW story arc.

I wanted Lash to kill Hive. Lash wounded him, but he did save Daisy. He was the cure, and I thought it was a nice touch that he did it so "sweetly" for an inhuman. That was kind of cool. I hated that the Aussie inhuman guy took Lash out (apparently?)- before he could finish Hive off. I thought he went down rather easily, but there are still 2 hours left in this season's finale. Maybe some surprises?

I was hoping for a better fight between Lash and Hive, but it is a TV show and not a movie. So it was still cool.

I was disappointed by Lash's death but oh well.

I am looking forward to the final. I think May is going to be the one that dies.

Yeah, her arc seems like it's over. No more Lash, a chance to kill Hive, etc.

I wonder how they are going to defeat Hive though...

It actually fits. In the Secret Warriors storyline, "Hellion" (J.T. Slade) betrays the team.

We could make the case that "James" is the same person, but without being the son of Carl Creel.

HOWEVER, there was a very subtle easter egg (the flaming chain): As you know, flaming chains used as a whip are the staple of Ghost Rider. J.T. Slade is the great grandson of Carter Slade, the Phantom Rider.

I dunno, it looked cool when Lash blocked Hive's mind control w/his blue shite. But he seemed to be dumb as a post by going to heal Daisy instead of finishing off Hive first.

I watch last night's episode. They do have a few CACW spoilers in the episode. But it is pretty cool that they reference the movie and The Sokovia Accords

Good to know. I'm having to wait on Civil War due to work and some family stuff, so I will hold off on AOS too.

That was a really great episode.

Mac better not be the one that dies. That would piss me off.

Lincoln has gotten a lot better but if he dies the audience won't care, imo.

Mack, May or FitzSimmmons are the only ones that people would truly care about.

I don't think it will be Mack, they wouldn't tip their hand like that.

May after the loss of her husband might have the crisis of faith.

This show continues to bring it every week. Marvel as a whole is clicking on all cylinders and this show is another great example. I agree May is the likely candidate for the one who dies. Her ex just died and she really hasn't done anything else in awhile. She's such an important member of the team and so respected in the spy community her death would be tough for everybody.

I was disappointed Lash went down so easy but with Daisy back I think the team will be revitalized and ready for the final showdown. She kicked that Kree's arse pretty easily. Her powers are growing stronger and so is her confidence in them.

It has to be one of the core guys from Season 1 that will go down. Otherwise I think they wouldn't be hyping it up. My money is on either Fitz or Simmons

Would suck, but I'd vote Simmons over Fitz. I'm thinking May. She really hasn't developed as a character at all.

May makes the most sense as far as continuing story goes. Daisy has really taken over a "Badass" female spy. Also, her character seems ripe to take one for the team, and it would be effective emotionally.

But Joss Whedon is still involved with this show, so it'll probably be Simmons or Fitz.

I just think it would be silly to kill one of Fitz or Simmons.

They are complementary characters. One w/o the other would ruin both characters unless the show kept the one on who died as kind of a "ghost" or "vision" that the other would still interact with.

The scene with Fitz and the green screen had me rolling.
