Me and everyone else is pretty much judges things as they come. I generally try not to pass final judgement until I have seen it. . .although bad press and poor promos have steered me from shows in the past.
I caught a lot of shite because I liked Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, and most of She-Hulk.
But when I talk shite about The Acolyte (and I watched every episode), I get lumped in with the "everything is woke" crowd by the 5 "nothing is woke"
So this narrative you think exists is really a total of 10 people. . .but they definitely derail every thread
FTR, I haven't decided if I will watch this show, and totally just came here to needle the board's "Disney Defender Squad" (they know who they are).
I may wait until the show is over, and see how people feel about it after it is no longer argued about like it is an existential threat (on both sides)

Why waste time and money on shows for these fringe characters that have no appeal except to the hard core marvel fanboys? I fail to see how these projects make money. In fact I think they damage the brand overall

I think this show is meant to just kinda be it's own thing without tying into the marvel universe in any way that will effect the main characters.
The only show you would need to have seen to watch this is Wandavision.
