that's my entire point though

ralph always had this threat hanging over his head

but i'm saying it's all taken into account

Fair enough. Keep in mind however, that In the original comic books, Raphael eventually learned how to control his emotions and became a great master.

if you look at the seven samurai
it is obvious
leonardo was the influence for the character Kambei Shimada=The leader of the group and the first "recruited" by the villagers, he is a wise but war-weary soldier.

michalangelo=Heihachi Hayashida=An amiable though less-skilled fighter. His charm and wit maintain his comrades' good cheer in the face of adversity.

raphael=Kikuchiyo= The last member of the group. A would-be samurai who eventually proves his worth. He is mercurial and temperamental.

donatello= Kyûzô= He initially declined an offer by Kambei to join the group, though he later changes his mind. A serious, stone-faced samurai and a supremely skilled swordsman; Katsushirô is in awe of him.

heck Kyûzô is japananese for donatello

man this thread got me so pumped i made a costume last night

If we take the execrepts from the non-existent "After the Bomb" series as canon (made for the role playing game) - which Eastman and Laird have indicated ARE part of the canon - then Raphael becomes a wise old master, and maybe the only turtle to live to see old age, albeit in a post apocalyptic nightmare world.

Raphael was the best no question. Donatello had the best weapon but was the slowest and he was a pussy.

In the same way that it's a fact in these shows that the muscle doesn't have the brains! It doesn't take muscle to beat the hell out of a trapped squirrel.

All valid questions IMO.
