Wasn't Houdini like 5'6"? I know height in Hollywood means nothing. They are always making actors appear shorter or taller but Adrien Brody seems like a strange choice.

There was a TV movie in the late 90s starring Jonathan Schaech (the guy that played the lead singer in That Thing You Do). I'm not sure many people saw it but I remember bits and pieces of it.
