To me Brando is a perfect example.

He went from being fit healthy skinny athlete handsome dude to the overweight totally unattractive godfather. Even his voice changed significantly, which is rare.

ETA pacino as well. probably the only thing that makes you age faster than consistent heavy drinking is meth

Can you please show an example of someone who is in their 70's that looks similiar to the way they did in their mid 20's?

Brando is a good example. It wasn't just age. Heck he had already started exploding all the way back when he shot Apocalypse Now.

By the time he did Island of Doctor Moreau, all bets were off.

Drugs, and I hate to think this - but he and Kunis were together (on and off) for about 8 years. It is possible she was not doing drugs that whole time?

Olivier. Yes I know it was a toupee but the face was the same in Spartacus for the most part as compared to Wuthering Heights. The eyebrows and look were still there.

Kirk Douglas kept his "look" for a long time.

Same with John Wayne.

Yeah, that is what serious plastic surgery and a couple of thousand hours in a tanning bed will get you.

I guess the plastic surgery is what really alters an actor's looks. Even relatively minor modifications add up over time. Maybe that's why the british and foreign actors seem to maintain their "look" longer than Americans, and actors who were never considered heartthrobs seem to have more staying power.

I still don't understand how Mel Gibson's head keeps getting bigger each year. HGH?
