Is this a joke or a real movie? is this what its come to? it looks awful, who the hell is actually going to see it?

I just have a weird feeling that in 30 years when our kids Google "Abraham Lincoln" the first thing that comes up is this POS.

It is a film. Only a film. Try and remember that. It is not being taught as history. It is a fictional endevour. I think it looks fantastic btw.

I'm looking forward to it. And do you really think people will think of some satirical movie when they hear of Abraham Lincoln?

I'm not a fan of the book because it is way too self-serious for something called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. There's keeping a straight face and then there's just being plodding.

Honestly, I think some will. Some younger people had no idea who Paul McCartney was when he won a Grammy this year, right? People are stupid.

As for this movie, it doesn't interest me even the slightest bit. Trailers I've seen for it look stupid.

Yep, all our children will think the emancipation proclamation was actually a vampire ban.

At least they'll learn the word Emancipation Proclamation. It's not like the Louisiana schools are going to.

Hell there were a bunch of kids who were surprised that the titanic was a real ship that crashed. Most of them just thought it was a movie.

Loved the book. Bought a copy for my dad and he liked it too. We will both be going to see the movie.

if in 30 years your kids don't know who Abraham Lincoln is without having to google it....you need to switch school systems.

Read the book and I'm in the movie. I can't wait to see it. They did have to stray away from the book for the movie but that was kind of expected. Had to add several action sequences since there wasn't much in the book. They also added a few main villains (Adam, Vadoma and Barts).

i have the same concerns about "Captain America"

kids in the future will think that this guy was the hero of America even though it was the hard working soldiers risking their lives
