Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences.

All we’re asking is that it not swing as much either way. Radical leftist have dominated our entertainment for far too long. This is a correction but of course you want it to swing back in your direction. How about living in the middle for a while?

How many times will Jimmy appear on Steven Colbert's show before next spring?

Over under is 4.

This is the second big name late night talk show host to get the axe after making comments that angered the Trump administration.

I know. Ain't it grand..

Thats exactly what you're saying. Be honest.

You definitely aren't liking the pendulum swing, but ain't it great

You can’t incite, cover for or spin domestic terrorism. There was a time when 99.9999% of the country understood this and why. Sorry dawg doesn’t like it but the same would happen the other way. Tucker Carlson had the biggest prime time show in media by a lot and was pulled for threatening to release video that went against the political narrative regarding J6. I didn’t see these same people crying about that.

Because it's a dangerous road to go down, at worst you can say he implied that dude was a Republican. Regardless his comments are hardly any worse than how most of the media has fumbled this entire story. From the shooter was trans, to he donated to Trump, to he was a socialist, to whatever comes next.

And y'all happy about this are aware that eventually the pendulum is going to swing back eventually that's how it always works.

Well, when your lies about Charlie's killer and MAGA cause Nexstar to drop your show from 32 affiliate stations, you get yanked from the air by Disney.

He didn't imply anything, you even quoted him.

What the frick are you blabbing about? He called out the right for immediately blaming the left before there was even a suspect. That's at best just unprofessional, plus we still don't have a motive.

Also I don't know where you're pulling that Tucker stuff from but it's false. Tucker was fired after the Dominion lawsuit that Fox lost and has to pay over 700 million. Tucker's text were featured heavily in the lawsuit. I know you've sealed yourself off in an echo chamber and lash out against anything that harms your own narrative so I get why you actually think that and are often so hostile

Colbert was the first domino to fall in regards to late night talk shows just ceasing to exist. No one watches them, they hemorrhage, ratings. Kimmel has stated multiple times he wanted to retire. I think their days as a whole as a genre are numbered.

If it’s ABC/Disney simply administering consequences for crossing the line, thats fine. They’re within that right. Much like folks who are getting fired from their private sector jobs for their comments.

If it’s the FCC pressuring them to get rid of Kimmel over the comments, I’m not a fan since you’re then discussing government suppressing speech.

I think it was the network simply looking for a reason to get rid of him.

Late night TV is dead.

This gave them a reason to end his show.
