I have no idea what you are talking about but I am glad you and Pedro Pascal are finally happy.

For real though...it's ok to get help.

I liked the last scene. 3 horses ride off and one takes a hard left on another path. It was like when planes fly the missing man formation

I didn't think about the missing man formation, but that's a great observation.

This show has so many great lines that are just slipped in as the dialogue keeps moving.

Dunc: Are you mad?
Egg: Is that relevant?

Part of the reason closed captioning is necessary (for me at least), and also for this:

Raymun had the best tournament of anyone

-made a friend for life in Duncan
-got out from under his douchebag cousin
-got knighted
-fought in and survived the melee without serious injury
-got him some redhead trim
-starting his own house with a new sigil and crest

considering he started as a squire with no prospects that’s a pretty damn good week

I think my favorite line and scene of the whole season was at the end with Lyonel and Duncan

“It’s fine, you’re fine. He’s a terrible maester”

He was one of the few actor bright spots in the Tolkien abomination.

Are they gonna still portray him accurately or will they santize the character because it would be wrong to portray a minority as less than noble?

As long as they remain true to the character, IDC what race he is. If they change the character to make the minority actor look better then I have a huge problem with it.

Saw an image of a lynch mob after him so it’ll be controversial for sure but I wouldn’t be surprised if he is true to the character up to a point but they’ll add in a justification for why he is the way he is.

Of course they will, just like black Snape.

There's nothing wrong with saying black actors don't belong in these settings. You can struggle to make it work, like in HotD with its absurd wigs, but you'd still do better with white actors. The only time it works is when they are identified as foreigners, like in Robin Hood.

There's obviously an unwritten quota in place, and it keeps producing these stupid, awkward situations.

I do get why it rubbed some the wrong way but I don't think the Valyrians being black affected the story very much. The only real issue I found was how did they keep their skin color if they married with white houses but there are also dragons in this world so I can let that pass. The characters themselves were still true to the books as much as any other was. The brother was still an a-hole who called Rhanyra's kids bastards, etc.

As long as the show writers stay true to the brown shield being a scumbag, the color of his skin doesn't matter all that mutch. Would I prefer them to cast an actor that aligns with my mental image that was cretaed by the book? Absolutely. BUT the real issue only comes if they decide that making a black actor portray a scumbag would be morally wrong so they change the story to make him a noble knight.

If you don't want a lynch mob to chase a balack guy then don't cast a black guy as a acharacter that gets chased by a lynch mob...

They will, but the REAL issue is that they feel the need to shoehorn black actors into everything. Sure, it can work, as I said, but why do it in every production?
