3 movies to capture the thrill of cinema?

Say you were trying to get your kid, spouse or friends into movies. They give you 3 movies to show them how enjoyable the movie experience can be.
What are the 3 that you would show them and why?
My three.
Feel like these are at the peak of what a blockbuster can be and some that any person would enjoy.
(My girl would still somehow fall asleep in the middle even though I say this)

Lawrence of Arabia is incredible obviously but you’re gonna have them sit through a 4 hour movie?

Seeing The Mummy in theaters at 7 years old is the greatest theater experience I ever had. I remember leaving that theater feeling like I just went skydiving. My grandfather loved old monster movies and had showed me the Boris Karloff many times before we even knew the Brendan Fraser mummy was even coming out. So when the trailers hit TV it was a must watch for us. Truly a magical moment.

I was about that age when I saw Star Wars in the theater. It was transformative.
Because it's dated, I'm not sure people appreciate the impact that it had.

This is a tough one, because I think there are more than three major areas you need to touch on - action, visuals, drama, redemption/sacrifice, comedy, mystery and romance. Obviously some movies cross over into multiple categories.
The opening minutes of Saving Private Ryan are some of the most intense ever put to film. Citizen Kane was revolutionary. The Searchers is considered by many the ultimate western. Star Wars launched a huge franchise. It’s a wonderful life is such a heartwarming story. Die Hard is the ultimate action movie. Two of my favorite films of all time are Smokey & The Bandit and The Big Lebowski.
But if I just have to pick three (in no particular order)
1- Casablanca: it has comedy, drama, mystery and romance. It’s one of the tightest movies ever made with no wasted scenes or lines of dialog. Being in black & white, in addition to setting the mood, gives the added allure of film history. The acting is terrific. The ending is just iconic.
2- Raiders of the lost Ark - it’s got the action and adventure, stunning visuals, great stunts, a quest and a little bit of comedy, romance and horror thrown in to boot. I also say the score adds to the thrill.
3 - Interstellar- this pick is all about the visuals and comes with the caveat that it must be seen in the theater. The story is nothing to sneeze at certainly, and keeps your attention throughout.
