You sound like a guy who wants a certain answer . What would you like us to say that would satisfy your confirmation bias ? Just let me know and I’ll say it for you.

And you sound like someone who is not comfortable answering a simple question. Don't deflect to what you assume I think, tell me what you think. Or is that too difficult for you?

It's a very human story, focused on a single individual, about how violence and tribalism can weave together against the benefit of those mired in it, while simultaneously the folks at the top can manipulate and steer this same violence and tribalism for their own profit.

The gist is - we don't have to play the game, just because we're pawns.

Is it? What makes it good? Is it the violence? The racial hatred? Why are you drawn to a movie that is hateful and divisive by design? What real world does it reflect or try to create?

Do you know, or have you known, any human like the single individual this story is about?

I’ve never met a lot of movie character types. Weird complaint

Have you ever met a silver haired woman who had dragons and was impervious to being burnt?

No one is making you participate in this thread or respond to my questions. frick off on out of here if you don't like my inquiries into why people like this movie.

The person I responded to said it was "a very human story." What humans have you known like the neo-Nazis in American History X?

So, you like to deflect as well. I will ask questions no matter if you like it or not. You're a joke, can't even come out and say what you are thinking. Enlighten us.

If you're scared, admit it. If not, say it.

Lighten up. Francis. I'm just curious why people like this movie so much when the people the movie is about, and the subject matter in it, is fricking loathsome. What kind of vicarious thrill do you people get out of watching hate movies?

Honestly, I can't answer that. I have never seen the whole movie and what I did see was over 20 years ago.

Have you seen Higher Learning? What are your thoughts on that movie, if you have seen it?

I'm in my mid-50s from the South. Certainly it is not a common thing (very rare now), but the "last gasp" of the Klan was only about 35 years ago.

I've known black folks who are racist, too. Probably slighter higher per capita than white folks, but comparable.

Racial supremacy is typically spread among the ignorant, not the malevolent. The malevolent stick with it, while the merely ignorant are likely to become enlightened.

You probably missed how much of a condescending dick you're being while being curious.

Its entirely possible to find a movie enjoyable without agreeing with the motives and actions of the characters.

Do you like Tarantino films, particularly post-Jackie Brown? They're all rooted in hate, bigotry and revenge.
