Lol. What, I can't use the phrase "you people" without there being some sort of hidden meaning to it? Who's the insecure one here, it's not me.

It's okay to not like certain movies while others do. That's the beauty of it, you can like or dislike whatever you want.

I get that, I've not slagged anyone personally for liking the film. I've only asked for reasons why they do. My dislike isn't limited to this shitty neo-Nazi redemption flick. I'm not a fan of any of the whitey is bad movies or the black trauma movies Hollywood makes.

Okay, that's cool. I think some of those movies go further than skin deep...

You. Have. Never. Seen. The. Film.

If anything, a moron, in the event they actually watched the movie, would likely interpret the message to be "blackey is bad, white trauma"

frick off, I told you once already I've seen the movie. I wasn't referring to AHX as a "whitey is bad" or a black trauma film, that was in reference to other movies. Read more carefully or don't participate.

As a public service, would you please provide a preemptive list of acceptable and unacceptable films that do not violate the delicate precepts of either your personal moral code or Ideological-no-go- zone for films? I would not want to inflict any more harm upon your most delicate psyche . And really, the board is in dire need of both a Moral Nanny and an Ideological Czar and you would seem to fit the bill. All I ask is that you dial down the RAGE just a bit so the rest of us can enjoy talking about the films you approve of us watching. Thanks in advance.

That wasn't the point of that comment, as you well know. I don't expect to know Khaleesi from the block in order to watch GOT. In a movie titled American History X, there should probably be some actual history pertaining to the film's subject matter, no? How many neo Nazis do you know in real life? Because I've never met a single one, ever. Klansmen either, your experience in the South may vary. The threat of these type of boogeymen is overstated and over-represented in cinema. That's by design, just like traumatic events affecting black folk is over done at the movies.

You can frick off too, I've done none of the bullshite you just posted. In a thread about a movie that is predicated on race, I'm not allowed to discuss the racial aspects of the film? Is that what your telling me? 'Cause I sure as frick haven't judged anyone in here, nor am I in a rage. All I've done is commented on the shitty film you guys love so much.
