I loved everything about this movie:
The parents day scene when they ask Ice Cube's wife where they're from and she says "I'm straight out of Compton!"
Ron Swanson joking about the fact that it's a sequal.
The chase scene when they had to avoid hitting anything expensive because they'd already blown the budget.
The whole sexual tension fight sequence in the hotel
the constant comments about how they look like 40 year-old cops
"Next year we'll probably just move back across the street to that lot next door" (sign shows "Coming soon: 23 Jump Street Apartments"
ect.
This movie was just Gold, Jerry, Gold!

Saw it today,me and the rest of the theater was in tears the first time when YOU the Audience realize that "Oh shite, that was Ice Cube daughter!" And it showed on Ice Cube face.
That was the highlight, second high light was the Jenko scene.
OVer all solid movie, I was laughing at the partners part though.

Just got back. Hell, the entire premise of making the same movie was the one of the funniest things about the damn movie. That whole first 5-6 minutes with the introduction of 22 Jump St was hilarious. Loved every bit of it.

Awesome movie.
The credits after had me laughing a lot with all the sequel ideas.

Finally saw it last night. Very funny movie. Like everyone said Ice Cube daughter and the Captain talking about sequels. Hahahah
"frick Doves" ahahahahhahah.
In the first one didn't Jenko say something about doves make you look like a bad-arse? When they were going to prom?

Damn that's funny, finding out more little things like that as I read about it. I didn't catch the Benny Hill reference at first. Someone else in the "movie nod" thread pointed out Ron Swanson poo-pooing Channing Tatum's secret service idea
I didn't think it was as good as the first one, but there were definitely some hilarious and clever moments sprinkled throughout. I laughed pretty hard at the red herring tattoo, and was all like

I liked the guy smoking the bong in the background just watching the fight the whole time and not moving. reminded me of the guy in the window on the Tom Green Show.
Yeah this was great, I wasn't even paying attention to what Jonah and the girl were yelling, I was just watching him

Yeah, this movie was fantastic. So much going on in the background. The Benny Hill reference, the "good wine" remark, the White House down reference, the doves, and many more that I can't think of off the top of my head. A lot of the jokes you really have to pay attention to to catch and you also probably need a somewhat encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture to understand. Kind of like Psych.

I liked the first movie better but I think I laughed in this one more, if that makes sense.
I was losing it at some points. So many references like people said.

Saw this movie Saturday. Loved 21 Jump Street, but this one was far much funnier.

Went see this last night. I didn't care for 21 too much but 22 was great.

I think I laughed more at this one, but I think the first one had funnier moments. If that makes any sense.

I think the first was funnier but the second was funnier if that makes any sense.
