As The Jerk is being discussed, this movie is also a classic comedy.

We watched it last night and laughed frequently. Will watch Arthur tonight.

Dudley dated Susan Anton and the different in height was quite apparent. She joked that sexually, he had to "go up" on her!

I saw this on last night. I watched it off and on. It is an overall good movie. I had to laugh since Arthur came on after and I made up some fan fiction that George Webber was Arthur Bachs alter ego when he was out on the west coast. Like he had a double life or something.

Bo Derek had a Hell of a figure, but ... Susan Anton ... just, DAMN!

When you first said "Susan," my mind went to "Susan Johnson," the character played by Jill Eikenberry in "Arthur." She too was a good bit taller than Dudley Moore (six inches, rather than eight inches for Anton).

Bo Derek was only 5'3" (about the same as Moore).

I miss Dudley Moore. A fantastic pianist who always seemed to work it into all of his movies.

Remember when Hollywood used to go out of its way to put the most beautiful and striking women on screen to gain an audinece???

I do, too...

Every time I walked by this box cover at the movie store, I had to do a double take thinking she was naked

It's a travesty she never won the hottest actress tournament. Don't think she ever made the semis.

And speaking of semis...

While I didn't think much of her acting, she is very intelligent and a true threat.

Whatever else you think of her or the movie Tarzan the Ape Man, but as producer Bo Derek brought the film in on time, under budget and the film made back between 4x and 6x its budget.

It's a blatant rip-off of the original Heartbreak Kid, but it's Blake Edwards so you don't mind.

That's because the budget was about $1000 and change and you only wanted to see it for one reason. I member sneaking a peek when it came on HBO.

Huh? Susan Anton was hot but she's no Bo. The scene in Tarzan when she's getting swabbed up and they put that white paint all over her was responsible for 94% of my boners that year.
