Contract main reason why.

Just fricking wild. Most credible NBA guy they have.

He will find another home pretty easily. ESPNs NBA coverage is comically bad

It's the worst coverage of any major sport by any network.

Woah.

Who is going to be on their NBA Today coverage? No Reddick or Woj either now.

Just gonna be Windhorst and Big Perk going back and forth?

If Simmons can bring Lowe back, that would be an all time upgrade after KOC went to Yahoo.

ESPN has been telling us they are no longer a journalism entity for the better part of a decade.

The first step was getting rid of its ombudsman in the early 2010's.

It's now a betting and social/digital content entity.

His podcast is the real value. I'm sure he'll find a home for it quick. I can understand it because he's not that great on TV and on TV it doesn't really matter what you say, just that you say it with conviction and Windy is better doing that in front of the cameras.

The Ringer makes a lot of sense here.

He is a very solid writer too. Somewhere like the Ringer or The Athletic makes a lot of sense. I didn’t realize KOC left the Ringer and he goes back with Simmons so that seems highly likely

JVG was the only saving grace for ESPN’s NBA coverage so of course they let him go.

So great how two uninformed hot take artists in SAS and McAffe have sucked up all the money at ESPN.
