Your Top 5 after Week 1

1. FSU. Granted, Pitt isn't very good, but still, FSU impressed.
2. Bama. Not great, but I'll give them another week before writing them off.
3. LSU. If the Tigers can build from here, look out.
4. Clemson. Let's see who walks away from the showdown with FSU in a few weeks.
5. Oregon. It was a tossup between them and Louisville. Both looked sharp, albeit against high school competition.

Fine with me. I wish pollsters were more open to making large moves with teams in the first few weeks rather than relying on a combination of a team's performance and expectations heading into the season.

this might be the first unanimous top 5 ever.

Are you basing this just off of week 1 performances?
I'd maybe consider aTm at #5 based on the fact they were missing Manziel and over half of their starters on defense for the entire game.
I didn't see Oregon or Louisville play though.
Would people be saying this about FSU had they played on Saturday and not everybody getting a chance to watch them?

1. FSU: Solid defense and a Heisman contender QB; only see them being challenged in two games.
2. LSU: Impressed with Mett, Landry and Beckham. Defense will only improve.
3. Bama: Dismal offensive performance against VT, will have to be much improved. Impressive defense, but many teams could stifle VT's putrid offense.
4. Oregon: Slaughtered a cream puff but did so with the intensity and intricacy of OU under Kelly, Mariota is very good, and will only be challenged by Stanford.
Clemson: Taj Boyd is legit and Watkins is a star. They still have a soft defense and still have to play FSU and SC.

just as good of a list as any one week in I think
It is tempting to consider Louisville and OU but who knows considering who they played

Ohio State is in the top 5 without a doubt, they could run the table this year.

Top 5? I guess it is hard to say when you beat a team by 20 that it doesn't look good.
But beating Buffalo by only 20? And giving up two tds in the 2nd?
I am not saying they aren't a good team. But not in the top 5 IMO.

Ohio State could very well run the table, albeit against the cupcakes they play. I love how ESPN played the narrative on the bottom line that Ohio State blew past buffalo 40-20. If not for a BS penalty that game would have been 30-27 at one point after the fumble recovery at the 1 yd line.
Ohio state would get crushed by any SEC school, Oregon and FSU. Clemson would be a shoot out. Tired of the Ohio st and Notre dames in the title game, same with Oklahoma as well.
Top 5 teams
Alabama
LSU
South Carolina
Oregon
Florida State/Clemson

If we're going to say Oregon and Louisville looked good against their scrub competition, well so did UT. After a slow start.

OP list has exactly 0 chance of being real when the poll drops.

I see your complete ignorance to Braxton's elbow being down before the fumbled.

Texas was losing with less than two minutes left in the first half to a team that went 1-11 in the WAC last year. I don't care what the Longhorns did in the second half. That is not a top-five performance.
