He should be in the baseball HOF for calling out Angel Hernandez before singing Take Me Out To The Ball Game.

I think he’ll get in but that’s the only argument against him.

Long overdue. The engine of the Orange Crush defense.

Absolutely.... One of the greatest LB's of all time.... He should have been in decades ago. He made that Broncos defense.

I’m curious about the NFL HIF, why do they only allow 5 per year? With so many unique positions (OL, DL, QB, RB, WR, LB, DB, KR/PR, K, P) it seems like people deserving of the hall will ultimately time out.

In the list provided, the ones I think that are absolutely HOF worthy are

Dwight Freeney, DE
Antonio Gates, TE
Devin Hester, PR/KR/WR
Andre Johnson, WR
Julius Peppers, DE
Reggie Wayne, WR
Patrick Willis, LB
Darren Woodson, S

These guys were the absolute best at their positions for extended periods of time and truly
Impacted the ability of their teams to scheme/perform and forced the other teams to change how they game planned.

NFL knows how to put their best players in the Hall of Fame. I've been to Canton and there's plenty to see. I wouldn't waste my money on the baseball Hall of Fame, some of the greatest of all time are nowhere to be found.

I’m happy for Mongo. I can only hope he’s inducted by Pepe the chihuahua.

To be fair, an MLB HOF with no Bonds, A-Rod, or Clemens can’t really be taken seriously.

I don't disagree.

I think they'll all be put in once all of the old guard dies off. Bonds especially should be in already. He was a HoF'er before the juice

But the baseball HoF is by far the best HoF of any of the major sports.

Just watched a story on Steve McMichael on ESPN. Congrats to him for making the Hall of Fame, overdue and well-deserved. The main point of this post is holy shite, ALS is the devil. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
