I'll be one of the first people to call out group think when I see it. But I don't think you know what group think is.

This is an LSU fan site, and Joe Burrow is pretty big here. People are starting this many threads because they are happy for him, with good reason. The downvotes you're receiving have nothing to do with group think. You got in the middle of a celebration for a guy that people around here love, just to tell us you don't like it. You knew what was going to happen when you did that, but you choose to be that guy, anyway.

Group think is when a bunch of people subscribe to some belief or ideology, without questioning it; simply to fit in the crowd. People here have a legitimate reason to be happy for Burrow. So if you don't like that, find a board that is talking about whatever you want to talk about.

TomBuchannan, let us LSU fans enjoy the success of the greatest Tiger ever while you clutch your crimson stuffed elephant trunk in your Bama double wide.

This. Dude was nothing but a winner at LSU. He's been a great ambassador for the school. He's been nothing but a winner in the NFL, even when facing a tremendous amount of adversity in his first year. He's caused zero problems, on or off the field, and has literally turned around an organization in two years. And he's just fricking fun to watch. No whining, no pouting, just playing his arse off between the lines. I don't see what's not to love.
