There was nothing flukey about his home run

Did they open the roof mid-game to where it was closed for Bregman’s and open for Judge’s?

I didn’t watch, but why are they comparing Judge’s ball to Bregman’s? Did they open the roof mid-game to where it was closed for Bregman’s and open for Judge’s?
no and bregmans went into the wind too.
the yankees are just bitching and moaning cause they are a bunch of twinks

Cry me a river… this is pathetic.
If the roof had been closed, they would be complaining that the air conditioning was just too chilly for them! Pitiful.

Sore losers and hope we sweep them

So what you are telling me is that the Yankees think that a ball hit at 106 mph was killed by a soft Texas breeze.
They think that the ball is a 390 foot ball that the soft Texas breeze.
Based on where Judge hit the ball the dimensions were between 373 (Right Center) and 326 (Right).... but that soft Texas breeze knocked it down by 20 or more feet?
Maybe Judge just needs to hit the weight room.
Or maybe get around on the ball and hit it to the short porch in left.... like Bregman

quote:91mph exit velocity balls have a 0.2% homerun chance according to stat cast
There was nothing flukey about his home run
106 mph balls have a 20% chance
It’s flukey the 0.2% made it out and the 20% didn’t. But that’s baseball.

Who pitches game 3? Someone mentioned McCullers is out and might be Javier.

find me the last Yankees WS trip that didn't include a shite pile of PEDs

That includes the Stros

no one on this astros team has ever tested positive for PEDs
As we all know "but everyone is doing it" is not an argument for cheating

I dont consider PED use cheating
I actually think they should all be able to take them
But its a fact the Stros are on them

Yankees fan here.
It's disappointing seeing these guys especially Boone have a loser mentality and saying these things.
However, I can't disagree with the sentiment. According to statcast, Judge's ball had an expected batting average of .910 while Bregman's was only 0.40. And that is strictly based on exit velo and launch angle at impact. You can decide if the wind played a factor.
I'd rather Boone comment on the 30 strikeouts in two games. Or having Carpenter out there with his 7 playoff strikouts when he hadnt seen MLB level pitching in 2 months and now you expect him to succeed against this years' best staff. It's like rewatchign any game against the Astros since 2015. It's the same formula and nothing has changed.
And also you guys just have our number - Yankees had a good chance to win either/both games with just an average offensive performance but came up short.
It's just aggravating at this point.
