It's been called all night, it inpacted EE, Gardner, Gio, etc so he is calling it both ways. Players need to adjust if they see the unp calling it close like that.

Alvarez has gone straight to fricking shite. Pitchers aren't even afraid of him anymore. They immediately challenge him with fastballs right over the plate and the best he can do is foul them off. Ends up in an 0-2 hole then chases off speed below his knees. It's the same script every AB.
