I think it'd be OSU or Wisky. I do think Boise would go over MSU, however.

Yeah, I was assuing Wisky to the Rose, but if Iowa beats tOSU, MSU would get the RB correct? if tOSU is available, I think they'd be first choice, but I'd be surprised if the Sugar took Boise over any of those Big 10 teams. MSU has a big fan base and travels well for BB even. I'm sure they'd love to come to NOLA.

Correct. If they win the last two games.

tOSU loses to Iowa
Wisconsin loses to Michigan
MSU loses to Penn St (next week)
4 way tie for the Big10 title

I can't wait till next season. Even if we're not in it, I can't wait to see a Big10 CCG.

Big10 is going to be fun as frick next year. Just adding Nebraska into the mix is going to change everything up.

this is where I hope we go if we get left out of the BCS. got plenty of friends there and I would rather be in Florida during the winter rather than Dallas

They are D 1 teams, if they make the title game it will because they earned it based on the system that is in place and agreed to by all the confereces. How they'd do playing Alabama's scheduel is not relevant.
Yeah, because Hawaii in 2007 showed that going undefeated, no matter your schedule, automatically makes you more qualified than a 10-2 SEC team like UGA. (I'm not limiting this discussion to just SEC teams, throw in a one/two loss Big 10, Big 12, or Pac 10 team and I feel the same way. They deserve it more than Boise or TCU)
Since Notre Dame is independent, they should make an entire schedule made up of only MAC, MWC, WAC, and Sun Belt bottom feeders and waltz into the national title game every year.

They didn't really almost blow it
didn't they have to grind out a fd late to seal the win?

I love how the people that hate the Non AQ always bring up Hawaii and ignore Utah or just make lame excuses for Alabama. I know this is shocking, but not all teams on the same level are EXACTLY the same. Hawaii was clearly a pretender. Not only did they have a weak schedule, they were barely beating people. Saying other non AQs should not be allowed to play in BCS bowls because Hawaii lost badly would be like saying the loser of the SEC CG should not be allowed to play in BCS bowls because alabama lost to Utah. Also you will note, the year Hawaii went unbeaten, LSU made the BCS CG with 2 loses and there was no outrage about unbeaten Hawaii being left. BSU and TCU have shown themselves to be more worthy.

If its so easy to go undefeated in the WAC and MWC, how come more teams don't do it? Notre Dame lost at home this year to Tulsa. This idea that Ole Miss or Vandy would be unbeaten playing TCU's scheduel is tardism at its finest.

Champs Sports (ACC vs. Big East) Miami (FL) vs. West Virginia

I have never said that. I have said that if Boise and TCU switched schedules with LSU, Alabama, or Arkansas, then Boise and TCU would not be undefeated, probably 2 losses, and all of the other 3 would waltz through the WAC and MWC schedules undefeated. It's simply not fair for teams like Arkansas and Alabama to be excluded from the national title discussion because they lost to Auburn, LSU, or Alabama, yet Boise and TCU dodge any real competiton for 10 out of 12 weeks of the season and they get to be in the discussion.

Nice dodge on the Utah/Alabama thing after you brought up Hawaii/UGA - NICE!
Posted on 11/15/10 at 1:47 pm to chief420
Sugar will NOT pick Boise or TCU. They feel they have done their fair share with Non AQ teams 2 of the last three years (Hawaii, Utah).
Not happening again, trust me. Sugar will be BCS conf vs BCS conf- PERIOD

Any SEC team that goes undefeated will go to the title game over and undefeated non AQ and probably any other BCS conference at this point. We do not need 8 to 16 teams in the National Title hunt and that's the only way teams like Arkansas and Bama would be in it this year. Its more likely this year will be an outlier with the non AQ's. Boise and TCU both have veteran teams that have been very good the last few years. Its not like Non AQ's have had realistic shots at the NC before so there is no reason to think it will be a regular occurance. If Auburn goes undefeated, them will go to the title over TCU or Boise. If Bama was playing TCU's schedule they would probably be unbeaten, but wouldn't we make the same SOS argument about them?

I laughed at this list when I saw one SEC team in the BCS.

I'm hoping ND can win the last two to get to 7-5, which would put us in the Champs Sports Bowl. I'm going to be in Orlando at this time for my bro's soccer tourney at Disney, so it'd be sweet to be able to go to the game.
