I just hope Boise plays a SEC team to beat the shite out of them. I hope it is LSU in the Sugar. We need to kill all this Boise and TCU are championship teams cramp. If your conference sucks, schedule tough OOC.
You had the chance to form a BCS calibier conference, but lost Utah and BYU went ind. You could still form better conference than the Big East and not far behind the ACC:
East
1 TCU (11-0)
2 So Methodist (5-5)
3 Houston (5-5)
4 Tulsa (7-3)
5 Wyoming (2-9)
6 Colorado St (3-8)
West
1 Boise St (9-0)
2 Nevada (9-1)
3 Fresno St (6-3)
4 San Diego St (7-3)
5 BYU (5-5)
6 Hawaii (7-3)

Just for a point of reference, two weeks ago they had Bama vs Oregon.
TCU vs Oregon is probably the most likely.
Chances are AU will drop a game to either Bama or USC and TCU pretty much has a free ride. Just like all year. Of course AU, Bama, and LSU would have about a 90% chance of going undefeated against TCU's schedule this year, but who gives a shite about SOS or what a team accomplishes on the field in any given year? College football sure as hell does not. There are too many undeserving so called "national champions" in college football to even begin to count. Seriously, the list would be dozens and dozens and debated forever. Might as well just pick the 5 teams with the best record each year and throw a dart at a dart board.

Ok, that was a bit of a stretch lol.
But they sure did suck it up in that game.
fwiw, Bowls love ND they have a big fan base and get big ratings, so no one is ever "stuck" with they. As for merit, they were one of the 10-15 best teams in 06, LSU was just a lot better. By the end of that year it was clear, Florida, LSU and USC had seperated themselves for the rest of CFB

You can hate on the BCS all you want, all you do is flame this board with this crap anyway. Could Boise beat LSU? Absolutely. But if you knew anything about CFB, instead of just being a Boise flamer/LSU hater, you'd know LSU has a damn good defense. One that is perfect for stopping an offense like Boise. I guarenfrickingtee you this, there will be more guys from LSU's defense playing on Sundays then from Boise's offense.
H-town. Don't let him get to ya. You better than this.

see how easy that was. I just so happen to think that the boise offense matches up perfectly with the lsu defense.

I agree. lsu has top 5 recruting classes year in and year out. what does that say when you readily admit boise could beat lsu?

If LSU goes 11-1 and gets stuck in the outback bowl... Id probably just sit there and cry.

Really I would like sound solid evidence on this.....btw beating and running up stats against Idaho, LA Tech, Hawaii, etc. doesn't constitute solid evidence
You do realize that Boise St. would lose the battle at the LOS before the game even started against LSU and Auburn right???

Boise would get run out of the dome by LSU in New Orleans....that is the last thing Peterson and the national media wants is to have Boise exposed in NOLA by LSU.....it would be a track marathon for LSU.....LSU would win by 3 touchdowns at least

except I don't hate Boise. I give them credit when credit is due and critisim when that's warranted. I have no problem waht so ever with them playing for the NC or in Sugar Bowl if they qualify under the system in place. Currently they are 4th and could move to 3rd and I think that's fair. If 2 of 3 above them lose they will be in the BCS CG. I have stated numerous times that my preference for CFB is a 4 team playoff, ehich this year would include Boise as of now.

Great, what are you basing that on? Auburn has a good offense, they ran for over 400 yards on LSU and only beat us by 7. What exactly about Boise's offense and personel leads you to belive they could "kick the shite out of LSU". What defenses have they face do you think are on par with LSU? Again Please list the teams that have "kicked the shite out of" LSU this year? Throw in 2009? Its been 2 years since anyone beat LSU by more than 2TD's. Of 16 loses LSU has had under Les Miles, only 6 were by double digits, 3 of those in 2008. The last DD loss for LSU was last vs Florida by 10, 13-3. If you can't back up your arguements with facts it just proves you are a flamer.

I think it says I understand the nature of sports better than you. I understand that terms like better and best are not absolutes. I understand the "best" or more talented team doesn't always win. (See Saints Az game or last years Saints - TB game for example). Unlike many SECtards I always give credit to other conferences and non SEC teams. Last week I was defending Utah as a quality opponent for TCU. I recognoze Boise is a good team. They do not have the depth or overall talent that LSU and other top SEC/Big 10/Big 12 teams have, but that doesn't mean they can't beat anyone or that they are no good. They can. Boise is probably better than 2007 Kentucky and this LSU team is not as good as the 2007 LSU team. So yes Boise can beat LSU. Would they in NOLA? I don't think so, but its possible. I don't necessarily think LSU would destroy them, our offense is not good enough, but there is no way they would "kill" LSU. If they beat us it would be by no more than a TD.

What he should say is Boise could beat any top 5 team. He won't cause he just a BCS hater and a flamer. Boise has proven over the years they can beat top BCS teams.

To there credit they did beat Ou in the Fiesta. But at the same time they went to UGA and got blasted 43-14.

They beat Oregon who won the Pac 10 last year. This year they beat VT who might win the ACC. LSU and Saban got blasted at UGA too, does that mean they can't beat anyone?

Here is the bottom line.....In the current championship system no one that plays a schedule the likes of Boise St., Utah, TCU, etc. should go to that one single game to determine the championship.....an argument could be made that they shouldn't play in the 8 team playoff scenario....but the current system no way in hell

couldn't disagree more. the computers punish them for the SOS. Last year UT's SOS was pretty close to TCU. If they were barely getting by in their leagues that would be one thing. But its pretty clear BSU and TCU are much better than the other teams on their level. People always ask what they would do in the SEC. Its not like LSU or Auburn would be beating all the WAC/MWC teams 73-0.
