Too worried about SP relapsing

I think Harbaugh is the kind of guy that might go back to college one day. SP will never.

Harbaugh. 3 straight NFC championships after inheriting an awful team.

Payton does have a ring, but he also has a top 4 QB and has really only had one good playoff run.

Much rather would have Paytons personality but I would pick Harbaugh overall. But he is a major jackass

Harbaugh inherited a great defense. Take that away, and what do you have?

I think he's a good coach, but I also think that he hasn't shown anything close to Payton in relation to being able to build a franchise from the ground up.

No team with double digit losses has ever even made the playoffs.

Harbs
- Far superior first 3 seasons
- Has remained eligible to coach last 3 seasons
- Head-to-head playoff win his rookie season
- Top 2 coach presently
- Is so without a Top 5 (or Top 10) QB

Payton
- XLIV
- At his best, the best playcaller in the league

There's only one option here people.

That 'no QB' might be better than they one they have now.

This, plus Gore, Davis and Crabtree were all already there.

Not knocking Harbaugh at all because I think he's a top 3 coach in the NFL, but the cupboard was far more bare when Payton took over.

The 49ers had years of underachieving to get plenty of good players as high draft picks. Everyone that knows football knows the 49ers were talented yet underachieving when Harbaugh got there. I'm not taking anything from Harbaugh but it is what it is. With that said I'll take Payton every time.

A lot of people let the media think for them. Payton has the hardware. Harbaugh's team folds when they play a team as physical as they are. I actually thought Seattle was better than the 49ers last year as well. Too bad they didn't meet in the playoffs that year.

Proof that letting the media think for oneself is sometimes better than not thinking at all.

If payton had niners defense past 3 years, we would have won another super bowl.

If Harbaugh had Drew Brees they'd be going for their second in a row.

These "if" statements are stupid.

Super Bowls

Payton = 1
Harbaugh = 0

And Harbaugh is an a-hole too.

Payton any day of the week.
