yet defense wins championships. Your take is idiotic at best. Screens don't stop elite defenders. If elite offensive players can't be stopped, how did Lebron shut down Derrick Rose his mvp season? bc they can be stopped.

Durant's defense is also underrated, albeit not at Kawhi's level.

I know everyone hates Kevin as a "beta cuck male," but he's probably a slightly better player than Kawhi.

If Durant never tears his Achilles, easily Durant

Durant was the best player in the world 10 months ago. One of the best scorers basketball has ever seen

You would be talking about team defense.

That’s why an offense with tony Allen will never be an elite offense.

And yet a defense with hardwn was top 5 two years ago and second last year for the last 30 games of the season.

That’s why elite offense is more valuable. A supposed poor defender can be part of an elite team defense.

There is always the off chance that the elite offensive player has an off night and misses a shite ton of shots they normally hit.

Defense is about effort and elite players in playoffs generally do not decide to not give effort

That is right. Which is why CC defense was #2 in the league post all star break.

An elite offensive player will always lead to elite team offense.

An elite defensive player does not guarantee elite team defense.

Elite Offense is just way more valuable.

You’re insane. Peak KD May have been the greatest offensive player ever, borderline unguardable in the same vein as wilt chamberlain.

Actually lots of highly respected basketball minds have crowned harden the greatest offensive player. Bc of the playmaking.ie His Ability to generate dunks for capela and wide open threes for his teammates.

Hardwn outplayed kawhi v golden state and he had Durant and Thompson defending him. Both of those guys didn’t barely even play v kawhi. And harden was still better.

I'm not taking the bait on this. I'm still riding with KD.

While it is tempting to go with Kawhi, afterall him going to Tor, a team that has been good for a while but could not get over the hump of the playoffs, improved that team in a major way.

But at the same time, let's not forget that the Warriors lost both KD and Klay in that series. The Raptors were a great team and deserve their credit, but they were not beating a healthy Warriors team. Hell, if Klay remained healthy I still think GS woulda pulled it out in 7.

Im riding with KD.

Last three Houston offense all top 15 all time. Durant has none without being on the warriors. Of course kawhi has none too. Harden is the only player ever who gives you all time elite TEAM offense. That is due to playmaking.
