They had great pitching that postseason

Big Red Machine in '75 or '76 had a pedestrian pitching staff. Don Gullett was ok but the rest were nothing special.
No idea if they were the "worst" but thought I'd mention them.

The Reds in 90 weren't very good with starters
They had
Browning
Rijo
Jackson
And 2 others
Jack Armstrong, started the All-Star game that year.

The name you are looking for is Dontrelle willis.

Yeah, can't believe I forgot about him.

2002 Angels, no idea how they won a title with that rotation.

I know I have some bias as a Sox fan, but this is ridiculous. Even the bullpen was money. I'm glad others have already trashed such an idiotic suggestion.

Uhh what?
And yes, as others have said, the answer is the 02 angels

Did K Rod set up for that Angel team?
They had Appier Lackey as top 2 starters in post season
With Percivel closing
Or am I wrong?

I don't know if he was the setup man but I know that playoff was when he became their go to guy out of the pen

Yeah he was their setup man with Percival closing. That was his rookie year I'm pretty sure. They had Brenden Donnelly and Scot Shields as well.
Their lineup was very solid, kind of the offensive version of the White Sox rotation. A bunch of guys who had really good careers but no superstars.

1968 Detroit Tigers
Mickey Lolich was a good pitcher and pre-flameout Denny McClain won 31 games.
They had a combined 80 starts. The rest of the staff was a hot mess. Think the 2016 LSU pitching staff playing 169 games and winning the World Series.
Their team stats look good but you have to remember the 1968 Year of the Pitcher.

1948 Boston Braves. Spahn, Sain, pray for rain. Actually I'm not sure if they won the World Series that year. But the Milwaukee Braves won it in 1958 with a really weak pitching staff.

Lolich and McClain are maybe the greatest 1-2 ever
