I was actually really worried there

Smith had no idea he was that far away and that kinda turned into him "blocking" the plate in a sense

He was out by so much the catcher slammed the tag, hit the ground, looked up to find him, then actually applied the tag way before he was close to home.

Base running by both teams has been atrocious although thats on the 3rd base coach

You also have to be smart. Watching on TV when I saw him round third I knew he was out. It wasnt even close.

aggressive was sending the guy to 3rd in the 8th. Sending that guy home just now was plain dumb. He didn't have a shot.

Calling that blocking would be just as acceptable as the called 3rd strike and give the Jays their run back

Both are egregiously bad, but they had the chance to make it right. LOL
