Get a good look at that Americans. That's national pride. They care unlike our best players who could care less and that's why they aren't here.
What's sad about that is these games are actually good and fun to watch. It'd be nice if we dominated. fricking Japan being the best, DR stepping up, sheesh

I have heard of all 4 of the outfielders FWIW
Posted on 3/14/13 at 9:38 pm to bayou2003

Any of them have 3 of the last 4 cy young winners not playing.
Kershaw, Verlander, Price. How about that for a starting 3.
Trout
Hamilton
McCutchen
All would be nice too

Harper is going to be a beast, and I think he is good, but he can't play with these guys yet. He would be striking out every time because he will be trying too hard. Maybe next time.

and bautista, castro, aramis ramirez, etc. plus they had a guy on a minor league deal starting tonight

He just came out recently and pretty much said this.. He guaranteed he will absolutely play in the next one.

That would be great. He is tearing it up in spring.

Harper could easily play on this team. Dude posted .817 OPS as a 19 year old. Thats insane. With almost a whole season under his belt, he's gonna have a monster year.

While I know guys decline etc., but we couldnt do better than Willie Bloomquist?! I know David Wright was injured, but still...
