Then people would support the league?

No, I'm pretty sure the posters in this (and all WNBA threads on this board) have made it perfectly clear why they don't support the league.

Tell us what you’re pretty sure that reason is.

Or maybe, just maybe because it's not entertaining to most.

The crazy part is them getting 7 in and as soon as the bouncers let in 7 they tried to get like 20 people in the club then lost their minds about it

Let this subspecies have its own “league,” but as far as salary… LMFAO! This “league” is on par with summer rec ball

It’s late July with literally no sports on except baseball and the wnba and I’d rather rewatch the sopranos for like the 7th time…. That’s how bad the product is

The worst people in the equation are the drooling simpletons who watch their league and enable their delusion.

They all make like 60k a year, the club knows they’d probably expect to be comped everything and the people inside would have been like “who are those rappers in the vip?”

He won’t. I should request a name change to disassociate from the bad TX Tiger.

Why don’t I watch? It’s not entertaining. I also have a hard time watching athletes when I despise the overall character of the league. It’s egocentric and entitled women that don’t seem to appreciate what few fans they have. They complain ALL THE TIME. They try to force fans into watching. Then you have superstars calling fans asking for autographs “weird”. I thought they wanted to be treated like NBA stars?

It's pretty simple and I don't get how you don't get it. The product is arse. It's a very very ugly style of basketball. I don't watch it for the same reason I wouldn't watch High School basketball if it was on TV, because it's ugly basketball. Ugly basketball minus the freak athleticism is a pretty understandable reason not to support it. Add some extremely unlikable players, it's just added reason. One white girl being a star doesn't even remotely move the needle for me like it does for so many middle aged men on the msb.

If you had told me that 10-15 years ago I might have agreed with you.

The talent level has improved immensely since then and because they can't dunk there is a lot more skill involved in making baskets (shooting, passing, dribbling, etc.) than the NBA.

And because the league actually allows defense, there's much more competition on both ends of the court.

Is it the best brand of basketball ever played? Of course not. But college football isn't the best brand of that sport either, but I still believe it's the greatest sport on the planet.

You’re still ducking the question that probably 7-8 different people asked you.

Why? Why are you ducking that question?
